Work directly with the person who will build and run it.
I’m Alexander Leon, founder of 8th Lane Interactive. I build apps, portals, and business systems, then stay responsible for running and improving them.

Alexander Leon, founder and developer.
I’ve been building digital products since 1998 and have run 8th Lane Interactive since 2008. My work has included mobile apps, connected hardware, e-commerce integrations, member platforms, and complex business workflows.
Before that I was the CTO of a search-marketing startup, and I later spent five years as lead engineer on an education platform. Both taught me that the technical decisions matter as much as the code.
What ties those projects together is understanding how the software fits into the business. I need to know what people use it for, what depends on it, and what would make it more useful. That understanding guides both the initial development and the work that follows.
I work remotely from Miami. I keep a written record of what changed and why, tell you when something needs your decision, and explain the technical choices in language you can act on. I work in English and Spanish.
A direct, continuing relationship.
I get to know the business
We start with the people and the work the system needs to support.
I do the development
I design and build the software, working through the practical details that make it fit your operation.
I stay responsible
Once it’s in use, I look after the agreed systems and keep making the updates and improvements they need.
We keep the scope clear
You know what I’m handling, what we’re working toward, why I’ve made the technical choices I’ve made, and where your decisions are needed.
Tell me what your business needs.
We can start with one app, portal, or workflow and define the work around it.
